Information on Unapproved Drugs and Medical Devices

In accordance with Japan's medical advertising guidelines, our clinic discloses the following information regarding the use of drugs and medical devices in our private practice that have not been approved in Japan (unapproved drugs, etc.). When considering treatment, please review this information and consult with us during your counseling session.

Treatment Using iPSF (Factors Derived from iPS Cell Conditioned Culture Medium)

Clarification of Unapproved Status	The iPSF (Factors derived from iPS cell conditioned culture medium) used at our clinic is not an approved pharmaceutical product under the Act on Securing Quality, Efficacy, and Safety of Products Including Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.
Source of Supply	The iPSF is derived from iPS cells manufactured at a domestic cell processing facility (I Peace Inc.). The conditioned medium is then refined and processed by REJU Inc. before being supplied to our clinic.
Availability of Approved Alternatives in Japan	There are no approved pharmaceutical products in Japan with the same ingredients or performance.
Safety Information in Other Countries	Treatments using iPSF (iPS cell conditioned culture medium) have not been approved as pharmaceutical products in major Western countries. Information regarding safety and efficacy is limited, and there may be unidentified significant risks.
Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System	The iPSF used in this treatment is not an approved pharmaceutical product under the Act mentioned above and is therefore not covered by the Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System	Treatments involving unapproved drugs are not eligible for the Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System.

Botulinum Toxin Products
Source of Supply	Individual Import
Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System	Using approved drugs for purposes other than those authorized may also exclude coverage under the Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System.

Skin Boosters (Rejuran, Sunekos, etc.)
Source of Supply	Individual Import
Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System	Treatments involving unapproved drugs are not eligible for the Adverse Drug Reaction Relief System.

General Information on Private Medical Practice

All treatments at our clinic are private practices not covered by public health insurance.

Details on treatment content, duration, costs, risks, and side effects are described on each treatment page and will be explained in detail by a physician during counseling.
